There's nothing conventional about josh.0 (Joshua Paul Olson)...or his journey throughout his career. So...

How did a farm kid from Fargo, ND and rural MN end up being an accounting dude... to then end up writing, marketing, and creative directing / producing...to then be sought after by some of the world's top entertainment brands? By adhering to "creative-first" and "people-first" philosophies simultaneously. By boldly going against the grain. By always striving to create the "new new." And by trusting his gut, heart, and taking risks... all while having fun in the process (otherwise...what's the point?!). Renowned marketing firms like Aspect, Trailer Park, mOcean, Seismic, and The Refinery can all attest. He approaches Campaigns from a 360 Strategy mindset (not just buzz words, he actually does it...and loves it)... focusing on how all types of different pieces for Theatrical, Digital/Social, Live Events & Stunts, PR, Experiential, and yet-to-be-determined creative platforms can all work together hand-in-hand to create a killer campaign… as well as a successful and memorable experience for the audience. While he’s a naturally born leader, he genuinely wants perspectives from everyone to create a more well-rounded brand, asking questions of his fellow team members and/or employees, to partner with and make it a truly collaborative experience, as well as with his clients/studios and other agencies during the process.

As a result, he has earned the utmost respect and loyalty from clients such as Sony, Screen Gems, TriStar, Universal, Disney, 20th Century Fox, Fox Searchlight, Warner Bros, Netflix, Lionsgate, STX, AMC / Shudder, 1091 / The Orchard, Strand Releasing, WellGo USA, EA Games, THQ, and Square Enix... along with countless filmmakers, independent studios, and production companies. Meanwhile, he's been nominated for 65 Marketing/Branding Awards, of which he’s humbly won 30... Clio Entertainment, Key Art and Golden Trailer Awards throughout the years... for his work on such titles as DON'T BREATHE, SEARCHING, EVIL DEAD, CREEPSHOW, PIERCING, THE VOW, RESIDENT EVIL (the last 3 Films of the Franchise), PIXELS, Branding for AMC/SHUDDER, SAFE HAVEN, THE POSSESSION OF HANNAH GRACE, NO GOOD DEED, SUCKER PUNCH, KINGDOM HEARTS: BIRTH BY SLEEP, RIO: THE VIDEO GAME, and SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS... among many other Feature Film, TV, and Gaming properties. He's also been on the Clio Entertainment Awards Jury twice, in 2016 and 2019.

He considers himself fortunate, grateful, and blessed to be able to do something he loves and call it "work." He was nicknamed "Killer" early on in his career...and he has made it his personal mission and motto to "kill it" in everything he does ever since. Also, he usually doesn’t speak about himself in the third person. But hey, no promises.
